srawas89
Ok so I have just realized that I was wrong about the difference between an Egyptian Hookah and a Syrian Hookah. I thought that the Egyption used a male bowl and that a Syrian used a female bowl. Now I have seen MANY Egyptians that have female bowls so I am assuming I am wrong. Whats the difference between the two and what type uses male bowls?
SimplexCoda
ya egyptians use female bowls. and as far as i know so do syrians. I know that lebanese hookahs use male bowls. the only difference is how they attach to the stem.

NickReppinThe909
some syrians use male bowls, but the main differences are the stem design and material used in the manufactre of the stem (usually brass) and the shape and design of the vase
