how is embry riddle ? im in the process of going commmercial helo and i might try and fly for virgin and i was thinking of checking out embry

Riddle is insanely expensive and if you go there to fly, you will graduate with about 250 hours(no ones hiring minimums) sad.gif I am flying across the airport at an fbo and am entering my sophomore year with 170 hours right now, and around 275 hours at the start of the semester!!!! Alot cheaper way to go...and quick, I'll be a CFI by November so its your call but private pilot license over there cost me 18k and they said that was normal sad.gif But it is not too bad of a school, just the flight center needs work

DAMN i went private helo for $11,900 and now i have about 145 hours and i will be paying about another 45-50k to go commercial with all my ratings

Well, this isnt a pic of my truck, but its identical. I'll get some pics of mine up tommorow, should be a nice day and she needs cleaned.



Its a 1992 Chevy 1500 with the sport package. 5.7L 350, all stock as of now. I like to bring the back end down so it sits level with the front, add a small cowl hood and dual exhausts. I'd love to build the motor some, but then again, I'd love to have the 454ss model of this truck too tongue.gif

The daily beater: '92 Civic DX hatch


-Auto to manual conversion, Mini Me high compression swap (Z6 head, ARP head studs, Cometic gasket, all the fixins), full SS headers & exhaust, Injen intake, Rochester PD 9mm bullet hole in driver door (helps with airflow to the inside of the door).

My 4 year project: '92 Nissan SE-R

-Fresh SR20 motor swap (fully painted and detailed), advanced timing, 370cc injectors, Meizier electric water pump, JGY clutch, lightened flywheel, full exterior body work and paint, full JDM Sunny SuperSaloon Amber corners, lights, and grill, 3" VRS/Vibrant Performance/Magnaflow SS exhaust, JDM hybrid big brake upgrade (all 4 wheels), fully rebuilt interior, Defi guages, lots and lots of other stuff. The turbo is being rebuilt, and I'm hoping to have the Turbo installed and tuned by spring. The guy that supplied me with the turbo setup ran 12.2 in the 1/4 with a trap of 123 mph untuned on street tread. I'm hoping for mid 11's on slicks with pump gas biggrin.gif

Threw everything together to get her running....running rough but still so snotty.

im no nissan expert, but arent sr20's best to drift with? i know overall its faster than the stock motor or a KA but if you were just planning on using it on the 1/4 mile why not just go all out and swap in a RB20?

im more of a honda guy smile.gif
