mattarios2
It's not bad but like if you look down the entire hookah it's all nice and smooth, then at the bottom pipe that sits in the downstem, there is a little bit of corrosion and like discoloring on the inside. The outside is nice and shiny.I'm assuming it's just b/c they are handmade and may not use the best materials and best manufacturing processes. My buddy said it may be because when they cut the downpipe they use heat, and the heat could have burned or tarnished the tip of the pipe.Anyone else? I was wondering that also. works like a charm though.
NickReppinThe909
might be a by-product of attaching the nut to the downstem

Because if it was only mine, I'd be returning it.
esheg4ever23
I've seen a few hookahs like that, I'm pretty sure it's normal.
Victim026
Yeah it's nothin to worry about, i would agree it's from the heat welding on the nut probably.
ilikemyusername
my MZ doesn't have any corrosion or discoloration at the end of the downstem.just a byproduct of a better manufacturing process i guess.sorry, i had to.
Place_Name_Here
mine has it too, but im shur its just from the manufacturing process.
Anxiety
they say on every website that sells Km's that all egyption hookahs are hand made and arent made to perfection, so yea i'd say every km ive bough has had some sort of corrosion or unsmooth edge, it's pretty common
mattathayde
in all honesty it probably isnt corrosion as much as discoloration, when you solder/braze/weld metals you have to sand off the top layers of metal to really get any discoloration off. from what ive seen on friends hookahs its not an issue-matt
