fifthmanstanding
I'm a regular Djarum smoker myself and imho, there's several different parts to a single djarum cig that can be replicated after some though. First off, Eugenol is the oil contained by the actual clove that numbs the mouth and throat a bit and acts as a topical anesthetic, many people enjoy them for this reason alone. It also slightly suppresses the gag reflex. The filters of Djarums are dipped in cinnamon oil to add to flavor. This might be something you'd want to take into account if it's flavor you're trying to recreate. The tobacco/clove ratio is 60/40 from what I understand. If you're looking for a flavor neutral mix to replicate clove flavor I'd say play with a cinnamon and clove shisha. Tangiers if you want a strong buzz. If you're looking to simply mix a cut open djarum into something, short of mixing the actual djarum with glycerin and playing around with it, I've got no ideas. A lot of people try to make thier own shisha and from what I've seen it's a hit or miss thing with a lot of bad bowls in between. You could always play with grinding (mortar and pestle) cloves up and then attempting to get the to burn, but again what you'd have is essentially clove shisha. Play around, this could be interesting, I myself would like to try it.
hookah hippie
Interesting plan I would probably buy some cloves at the supermarket and mix it with tobacco Let us know your results about how well it worked
