Fireworks Banned

If you are caught in the city of Amarillo with fireworks, then you get slammed with a $2,000 fine! This includes your car and personal property. Same as if they catch you in your backyard shooting them off.

The only ones I am buying this year are the ones you throw on the ground, because they don't have the incinerary device in order to operate it.

On the other hand, my friends and I will be way too busy for fire when we are lighting our coals.

"The closer we get to the Fourth, the more complaints we will have," he said. "Our officers are fully aware of the zero-tolerance policy we have for fireworks and will take the appropriate action regardless of age or circumstances." That's absurd. If they catch some 11 year old with Black Cats they'd bust his ass and give him a 2k fine? Fucking fascists.

lol Boss think about it bud, they'd bust the 11 yo? hell no, they'd get the parents, he had to get the fireworks from somewhere.

Even so, I still think that's fucking retarded. People are going to blow shit up fireworks ban or not. At least it should look pretty before the lower intelligence levels among us lose their hands. bomb.gif

I know they'd ticket the parents, but I doubt a kid would comprehend the severity of breaking this particular law.

I'm living in Auburn, WA and they are banned here for the Fourth, but if I drive literally a mile down the road I can buy them because they are still ok in Federal Way... lol, doesn't make sense.

I'm going to throw my lovespuds into this fire.

I quite agree with this I'm afraid. In the UK we have a bit of a problem always around November [Guy Fawks night, bloke who tried to blow up parliament. Fucking shame he didn't pull it off] with the little bastard chavs throwing them just about everywhere and doing real dumb things.

In some of the inner city areas kids as young as 11 are putting them through people's doors and letting them off.

There is nothing more dangerous that a fucking idiot <18 with a firework and a bottle of white lightning. Chop there bastard hands off instead of fining them.

I would love to see you catch a kid doing that to your door. That would be EPIC.

Heh, I was up there last week for Mayhem Fest. at the ampitheatre. I was kind of pissed this 4th when I found out most fireworks are banned here in Oregon. When I lived near Dallas, Tx. we could get a hold of just about anything.
