First Tangiers Order Coming Thurs.

Recommended Posts

i ordered lucid passionfruit from hookahcompany as well as a replacement base for my MZ.i'm sure someone remembers the tread titled DAMNITT! along with that order i got a smaller base to give to my wife to use as a flower vase.and some AFpipe and i want to say i ordered AFgrape aswell. i got a 50g sample of pear shisha, what scares me about tangiers is that you overpack a funnelso the shisha touches the foil, but its a low heat shisha.
i've been smoking for 5 years and this is going against everything i understand about heat management.
i had to wait for them to make a washed line because i hate feeling nauseus., the buzz is nice, but nausea can ruin a night.

I've been smoking for about the same amount of time as you, Ilike. Standard egyptian bowl, Nour finger coals, careful packing of AF and Al Waha. What Snoopy and the rest are saying is absolutley correct. The initial smell of the Tangiers is a bit alarming at first, but the acclimation does wonders. Overpack the bowl, and drop two Coconaras ( or whatever you might have on hand ) on top. It takes a bit of experimentation and heat management to find the " sweet spot ", but when the flavour and smoke come on as thick as gangbusters, you'll not regret it. I now also use a Superchief bowl for my other shisha. It lasts forever! I may never go back to the standard bowl. Forget the one hour session. You're gonna need a looog movie for this stuff. i just got nearly three hours out of my Phunnel of " Indigo Flower " Tangiers, and I could have easily gone on for longer, but by that time, I was only getting lots of smoke and little flavour, but the smoke still smelled as fresh as when I packed the bowl. I can't wait to try the Lime and Guava shisha from this company. I'll bet the lime complements a Corona beer perfectly.
Let us know how it goes, and keep us ( and me, another Tangiers noobie! ) informed!

I think once again we're running into normal and lucid. The lucid line(from what I've been told) does not need to be overpacked and its not hard to find the sweet spot. I can personally speak for the passionfruit. I throw it in a phunnel(just drop some, no packing) and some foil and holes and go to town. It is a bit more heat sensitive but still AMAZING. As for the blue gum balll...still haven't decided if its any good or not.

Tangiers got me the first two times I smoked it. Put too much heat on and I got a extreme tobacco taste with a faint hint of flavor. I thought "Its good, but I don't see what the big deal is..." On my third attempt I realized what I was doing wrong and put much less heat on and it was fantastic. Haven't looked back since. And yeah, the over packing put me in a doozy at first, but I had faith and just did it and it worked.

Hold on a second! Lucid packs like any other non-tangiers tobacco so you don't need to worry. Don't pack it like tangiers! And passionfruit is one of my favorite flavors!
