Less Smoke With Scali Mod?

Recommended Posts

yeah. try 2 cocos with the heatshield. I usually use 2 cocos on my jet phunnel to get a bowl going but with tangiers being heat sensitive i have to remove one. My smoke does thin out obviously but that's because i didn't have a windcover that fit until today.

heat shield?

i take a foot long by 3" peice of aluminum foil and wrap it around the bowl,so all the air must pass over the hot coals and not seep in from the sides, if that makes any sense. Edited by bobosap

Do you have a windcover that works with a phunnel and a KM??

I got this one from socialsmoke.com http://www.shopping.socialsmoke.com/item--...WINDCOVSS3.html By itself it's not tall enough to cover it, but what I do is lay a set of tongs across the ashtray and the set the cover over it. Works just fine. Also, HC has this one, http://hookahcompany.com/extra_tall_wind_cover_3138_prd1.htm, which is about an inch taller. you might not have to lay a set of tongs across the tray. I liked the way the dome cover looks which is why I got, plus I picked it up same day I ordered it, didn't have to pay for shipping.

just lay a set of tongs across the ashtray and set your windcover on top of that. I got the idea from snoop on his tangiers how-to vid. http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=20991
