pigpen
I have a yen for a shisha that tastes like real chai. This is going to take a little blending.. Have you ever added spices (or fruits) to the bowl? Sure I could put a little tea in the vase - but added spices might give more flavor. I was just wondering if anyone had tried it and what they thought of the experience.
melanko
I've smoked out of fruit bowls before and they make a huge difference in the flavor. Spices I haven't tried, but I would assume that if you grind them whole so their oils are still fresh, when they burn you should get a fantastic aroma. NickReppinThe909
i dont know how you would go about doing it other than getting plain molasses shisha and mixing a few bags of tea in with it and try it out but i dont know how safe it is to smoke tea
ronald_dooley
Add 1 teaspoon crushed guava and 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seafood seasoning to a bowl of Al-Fakher licorice shisha. You won't regret it.
nicayotte
when i still smoked i would moisten tea leaves in honey and add them to the bowl of shisha, worked great!

Doubon
maybe mixing cardamon flavor with some earl grey flavor or red tea from tangiers would taste a little like chai. try adding something to the base as well like vanilla extract, etc.

pigpen
These are all great ideas. I was thinking of just adding a bit of crystalized ginger to the bowl lolI am hemmoraging over old bay seasoning though! Imagining the flavor of crayfish boil in my hookah is not pleasant. But I am a noob with no taste - what do I know?
