mattarios2
Other than OC I think no one saw this post from a previous thread I posted in. I am reposting it because it is important ..Ok fellas here is the deal. I spoke with George from thehookah, let me tell you guys, this guy means serious business when it comes to customer service. Was very polite, listened to me babble and chew his ear off about tons of products and things and what not, and let me choose what I wanted to do. Whether it be swap the hose for something else, get store credit, get a full refund, w/e I wanted he was cool with. He was told by KM that they were washable, obviously he is going to listen to the company that produces the product. So he informed me as well as others that called from the forum that they were washable. George said it would be cool if instead of returning the hose (keep in mind he was going to pay for the shipping) I could cut it open. So these photos are being put up as a learning experience for all of us to know for future purchases that the KM Pro is not washable. You can see the metal coils rusting already from 2 different washes. Technically I guess you could say its washable, but if you wash something or do routine maintenance to it, and it begins to corrode ... IMHO it ain't washable. He reiterated over and over on the phone that it's always a learning experience, and all he ever wants from his customers is for them to happy and he will do whatever it takes for that to happen.TheHookah.com, you guys are the shit, if anyone on this forum wants to buy something, and it is on thehookah.com, and you want to support an honest and hard working company, buy from them you will not be dissapointed! I rinsed it with vodka to get rid of the "plastic" smell ... and from there on it smelt like nasty vodka and rust.
