after reading so many posts, a lot of people might think the hookah set
up is very easy but theres a lot to consider when your new at it:

1)have i packed the tobacco too thight?
2)is the foil touching the tobacco?
3)have i punched enough holes in the foil?
4)are the holes in the foil too big?
5)have i placed the coals in the right spots?
6)am i using good coals?
7)am i getting the max amount of time out of my bowl that i possibly could before
it looses taste?
8)does everyone use ice?
9)have i put enough ice?
10)is my water level right?
11)are there any major air leaks?
12)is the hookah i didnt buy better than the one im smoking from right now?
13)are glass bases superior to acrylic?
14)will i marry jessica simpson?
15)when will episodes of the simpsons start getting funny again?
16)will the new season of sopranos be good?

and i thought smoking hookah was supposed to be relaxing
sheesh.....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!

It may just not matter.3.More is better, larger is better, larger holes make for a better draw.4.when pieces of charcoal start dropping through, yes5.May not matter, just move them around evenly6.??7.What time is it?8.I don't9. ??10.Take the hose off...draw air through through the hose port heavily and quickly...if you get water up, remove water at least until you don't. I try to put in the max. amount of water before I start drawing it up into the hose port. You can use less than that, but try to cover the stem with at least an 1/8" of water. Less water covering the stem makes for quieter bubbles.11.Electrical tape is best, in my opinion, for tightening the gaps in jar and hose gaskets, if your head is loose, use additional head gaskets.12.They're roughly all the same...the only differences, in my opinion, lie in: A. Will this hooka be durable? and B. Is the core/hookah made of brass or stainless steel or not...if its made of plain steel, it is no good.13. I like them (glass), I don't think it matters.14. Stay away from my girlfriend.15. As we say in So. Cal, even the best wave breaks on shore eventually.16. I more of a bassy baritone.17. Yes, I do love posts like this.

haha it is true. Whenever Im at a party where there are multiple hookahs, I cant tell you how often I have to re-set up everyone's. They are often amazed by all the things they either didnt know how to do, or didnt know to do at all.Most people that own waterpipes often dont know how to use them properly(hell... im still learning). At least thats what I've seen in the teenage-college crowd.

When my friends try to setup the hookah session, I always get so frustrated that I end up redoing the whole thing myself! It's craziness, werd. Jon
