esheg4ever23 Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 Okay so this was the first time me and my cousin were smoking Tangiers, and we started getting this tickling feeling in our throats, to the point we couldn't take normal full-capacity hits and just ended the session. Well I started with 2 thirds of a finger coal, then the smoke wasn't thick at all, so I added the third coal and it was hitting fine, that's when the tickling in the throat started. I fiddled around with the coals, took one off, smoked for a while, the smoke thinned out again. Put it back on, tickling. When I add about 3 coals, the flavor is strong and it tickles my throat, and the smoke is O.K., but not thick enough. When I take a coal off, leaving the bowl with only 2, the flavor is not strong but the smoke sucks. I just gave up on Tangiers altogether and threw all of it in the trash.
