Voski
QUOTE (esheg4ever23 @ Jul 12 2008, 06:14 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Okay well I tried it again today, still the same thing. When I add about 3 coals, the flavor is strong and it tickles my throat, and the smoke is O.K., but not thick enough. When I take a coal off, leaving the bowl with only 2, the flavor is not strong but the smoke sucks. I just gave up on Tangiers altogether and threw all of it in the trash. Plus the Horchata flavor itself is disguisting.Aw man! You should have kept it I offered to show you how to pack it man =(Horchata tastes like campfire to me =/
esheg4ever23
Eh if I decide to try it again I'll get Tangiers Orange Soda, that flavor at least sounds promising. Horchata is pretty disgusting, to the point it made me gag.
judgeposer
I still think the tickle indicates moisture somehwere in your setup or tobacco. I know you've said you acclimated it, but perhaps the environment is too humid? For the record, Horchata tastes like cinnamon goodness, lol...to each his own (when it comes to shisha). So I made another head this time with Starbuzz Blueberry, same setup; phunnel, same hookah, same amount of water, etc. and it worked great, no tickling. esheg4ever23
Now I'm considering trying the lucid line of Tangiers, since I heard it's easier to set up and use, more like any other shisha brand. Anyone recommend any good lucid flavors?

Speak_In_Vowels
QUOTE (esheg4ever23 @ Jul 11 2008, 10:59 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Okay so this was the first time me and my cousin were smoking Tangiers, and we started getting this tickling feeling in our throats, to the point we couldn't take normal full-capacity hits and just ended the session. Is this normal? We had Tangiers Horchata (not lucid) in a phunnel with natural coals.yea it's very normal brah so dont worry and since it wasnt lucid your good. just give it time til you get used to the tickle then it goes away.the tickle is caused by the high nicotine level. mattarios2
QUOTE (Scoop @ Jul 12 2008, 11:23 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>horchata is some real good stuff, youre crazy!yeah i am sure it is, for you, not for me. I know hot to pack tangiers, and still wasn't crazy about it. I didn't hate it, but I prefer melon blend, k-peach, and static starlight is pretty tasty too.
