hey mush, you should try and hook up with an artist who works at a Trader Joes. They make chalkboard signs all the time and at least the ones at my store are freakin amazing. Not a plug (it's work for God's sake) just a suggestion.

Heh..i have a former trader Joe's employee workign for me now, the Undertaker. I have some real talented customers and I think they are getting to like making my signs, makes them feel more involved, plus they get to see their stuff out on the street, which is cool. Also with the weather and general idiots the signs don't tend to stay legible very long I'm afraid.

The second store is on hold while we continue the search for a good building.
The one I have is in Chapel Hill, NC.

good call. tht is the problem dhuwan had. they make a killing on their first store and just started popping them up all over the chicago land. soon they realized how much work it was to have a shop in 4 different locations on top of living in the suburbs so they sold three of the stores and just stuck with the original. they made decent cash off of 2 of the stores they sold but in the end it just kinda seemed like wasted time

I dont work sundays or mondays. If you are going to be coming those days, make arrangements with me ahead of time and I'll come in and be able to sit and smoke with you.

I also put local artists' work on my walls inside for them to sell. I don't charge a commision or anything. Some of it is very good. Like to support the arts, considering I have NO artistic talent myself :-)
