personally I would choose AF because starbuzz is ok, but imo its not worth the money however for free I would try some starbuzz.

free or not Af has good flavors all around and lasts longer...starbuzz has a select few flavors but their price is just such a turnoff it makes me not like it more lol

Heh, or three if you know where to shop. That's my thoughts exactly.

I smoke both SB and AF..... I think Starbuzz does very well one what I would call pure fruit flavors. I love the mango, their white peach is on almost everyones "gotta have" list, and even the pineapple is awesome. (Though they missed the boat entirely on their blueberry IMO.) It's when they start mixing it up they get a little weird. I think some of the mixes like Tropical Fruit taste very artificial. But honestly Fusion is just as good in fruit flavors I think, and I don't think anybody yet has come up with a better watermelon than AF..... It's all just a matter of what you like. I think sometimes I need to figure out my flavors and then experiment with brands for that flavor as to who does each one best. And then buy that from then on..... Starbuzz Mango for instance, Al Fakher watermelon, etc.

goin with the fakher.

had my first of it last week: more flavor, longer lasting flavor than SB, which was the first premium brand I tried and will probably never buy again.

Excited to try more AF!

Al-Fakher ftw! It's not only cheaper, but better in my opinion.

However, now that I have a phunnel, I've started to appreciate Starbuzz blue mist. This stuff was meant to be smoked in a phunnel. It really is a quality smoke with rich flavor. But it's not twice as good as Al-Fakher... and in most cases, isn't even as good... so it certainly isn't worth twice the price.

However, I will defend Starbuzz and say this: there are fewer stems and big leaves in SB than in AF, so maybe they are a little more careful in their packaging plant... that might justify a little price hike, but not the exhorbitant price of SB. I hate picking all those huge stems out of the last half of my tub of AF!

Bottom line: if you can afford it, some SB flavors will not let you down, and it is good quality with fewer stems/leaves. just my 2 cents.

If SB lost the dye, it might be worth the price tag, but for that much...it's not worth the headache
