mattarios2
QUOTE (mikeypas @ Jul 14 2008, 04:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>i dunno what to say, but i find the pull of the colossus is equal to that of my km exotica. price wise no comparison, egyptian is the clear winner for price. for performance though, im extremely satisfied with the mya. never smoked the colossus so can't say anything there. szemek
Honestly, a lot of it is aesthetics. Mya's are the best looking modern hookahs you are going to find. And for those interested in things beyond the quality of a smoking session (blasphemy I know) it's worth it. I think there is definitely some collectability involved. aronparsons
Believe it or not, not everyone thinks a traditional Egyption hookah is the best looking (e.g. KM). Mya hookahs smoke very well, and while they are slightly overpriced, are the best looking out there IMO. Going and walking around their store is quite a sight; being able to mix and match your favorite stem and base can't be beat. I don't care where my products are made, I choose what I like which usually comes down to a balance between quality and price. I have 3 Myas and none have failed me; they all smoke amazing (and yes, I have smoked from KMs).
kvtaco17
I have 2 KM's ( on the rocks+trimetal) 3 Mya's (Frost, Phalcor, Bambino) and a MZ (48" Nerfetti) and all of them smoke very well... I admit the Mya's not purge as well BUT they smoke and draw very similar (sans Bambino) and I would never sell of trade any of them... They are beautiful durable and good smoking pieces... MechAnt
MYA's are good, consistent quality. They use good materials too. Here's my detailed pics thread.http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=22731 Edited July 15, 2008 by MechAnt

Giant Ninja Robot
If we're talking aesthetics I really don't care for the classic bell looking vase that most kms have, and the stems are nice but some of the Mya stems are so cool and mod lookin. I like most of the style that Myas have.edit: I DID just see the new KMs on HC and they're pretty beautiful. Espec. the Nour. Damn.
