let it sit in boiling water and baking soda prior might help too.

Nothing would take the black, burnt-on crap off my pyrex bowl until I tried boiling water and baking soda. What kind of bowl do you have?

Yeah, the nonglazed bullshit inners of the bowl. Mya really did not step it up with that idea.

uh...the purpose of the non glazed part of the bowl is to help absorb as much of the molasses as possible, rather than letting it all drop in the bowl with in several minutes..and it works MUCH better than glazed/ceramic bowls.

Thats why you step it up to a phunnel, then no juice will seep down ever.

I was speaking of the non-glazed ftl in cleaning terms, but I hear ya Code. There must've been a reason for that.

Yeah, cleaning non-glazed ftl indeed, and Phunnels FTW...because if not FTW, I wouldn't have 4 lol

they prob figured non glazed = less dripping juice down the holes.

edit: code already said this, didn't read entire thread, mods can delete. Edited by mattarios2

Water + Rock Salt + Ziplock + Shake

Does that really work? Sounds time consuming. If Ive learned anything, its to be more efficient with my time making and cleaning my hookah.

+1 I hate spending more time cleaning than what is necessary. Seems like too much work to me
