natgnat
So my hookah comes in two days (I'm pretty stoked), and as I was cleaning out the kitchen, I came across several bottles of rose water and orange blossom water. I was curious if anyone had ever tried these in the base of the hookah, and if they go well with certain flavors. I'm fairly new to the whole hookah process (this will be the first one I own), and will probably experiment with it in a few days. Just curious for other insight. Heh. I guess I'll just have to get a few noob runs with the hookah out of way, and then let everybody know my experience with it.
AKammenzind
Hrm, I use rose water all the time cooking, but never thought to put it in the base. Interesting idea!
filmigeek
Cool idea. I love love love rose water. But then, I also love rose shisha - I have tried mixing rose shisha into fruit flavors like apple, grape, or cherry, which is very nice. I wonder if rose water in the base would have a similar effect to mixing in a little rose shisha.
Giant Ninja Robot
good idea in my book. I've only tried a few things in my base. The lemon water was good but heed my warning - don't use too much lemon The mint iced tea was disgusting but after reading abit more I think I made the mistake of not diluting it. Maybe next time I use tea I'll just let it brew as I smoke with the bag in the base. Going to try some spicy cider and water with some double apple shisha soon I hope. Although I really don't wanna clean that crap out.

Kalutika
My friends and I have been planning on making a rose explosion so to speak. Rose shisha with some rose water in the base and topped of by drinking the rose mead I brewed...It might be a little much but it's worth the story if nothing else. Snoopy1966
Well it sounds like the private parts of a male, but you have to say it properly, but it does sound like cock...You say it more with a hard c sound from your back of your throat. So it is more like ccchock. It is the Egyptian name of the cookies. They have a very soft outside and dates inside with powdered sugar on top. You mix the rose water in the dough and in the dates you cook up. More goes in the date mixture.
