mattarios2 Posted July 23, 2008 Author Share Posted July 23, 2008 good news and bad... good is that the tri-metal and everything came in one piece, and just about everything is perfect. The bad news is the vase is really really wobbly. I figured I could deal with it, but when it sits on a flat surface the entire thing is tilted sideways and its pissin me off. I called HC, no questions, no issues, they are shipping me a new one today and said I could keep the wobbly one.How freakin sweet.HC is the shit,Thanks again.Oh and btw when I get the new vase i'll throw pics on of it in action. Oh and how exactly can you tell whether the downstem is brass or SS? Everyone who owns the old tri-metal says its SS HC website said brass. I look inside and it's all shiny but it seems hard to tell which it is. Anyway to know for sure? Brass would be yellow right?1 other thing, whoever was going around saying KM quality on the tri-metals is no good or going down is crazy, this thing is heavy as shit, only 1 tiny tiny hole in the stem, and welds and everything look beautiful. SS looks like shiny silver, although on my KM its more of a dull silver, as there are various grades/types. Please take pics. And let me knwo about the vase grommet.
