David
I just placed an order with socialsmoke, seeing as I found myself almost out of ma'assel (smoking my last bowl of Al Amir 2x apple as I type and i've got some AF apricot which isn't exactly my preferred smoke..).I took the ups international express option (a bit hefty, but hey.. I ran out of the good stuff) which says it delivers in 1-2 days, so I'm guessing it'll be here by wednesday. But i think I read somewhere that ups isn't all that reliable.. Can someone confirm perhaps? Just to either confirm my doubts or relieve me of my pain of thinking that i might not get my ma'assel soon enough thanks. mushrat
UPS is about as reliable as any other carrier out there. We use it exclusively at our store. If it says 1-2 days..expect the 2. Now don't forget thats 1-2 days after its actually shipped..so don't start yelling until you know when UPS actually got the package... just my $.
tjt486
I prefer ups 100x over fedex. Fedex has a problem with my house. They typically come while Im at work, if Im lucky they leave a doortag (ive caught them driving away from my house without leaving a tag, luckily I blocked him in) and on the 2nd day they put into the computer "invalid address" so I have to drive (~20 minutes) to the local pickup facility. The last time someone shipped fedex to me, it got entered as invalid address the first day and I had to call someone at fedex and stop them from returning the package. USPS is just a joke. they cant do a damn thing right..i prefer DHL or UPS over anoyone else really. never had any issues with either of them
jmexx
I use your USPS to avoid THE MAN and his money-stealing techniques. Normally it works *crosses fingers* I'm placing a new order this week...Jon
David
UPS guy just rang the doorbell and gave me my ma'assel. No custom, no fees.. REALLY quick service, they just made a customer for life. As well as social smoke *smooches to Ali*

Sonthert
Excise taxes suck...I feel for you David, and all you subjects of the Crown or former subjects of the Crown. I always whine because California has the third highest excise taxes in the US (46.76%) plus federal ($1.0979/lb). You know in some states of the US, the excise tax rate is 4, 3, 2%? Wow! Its like gas being $.17/gallon in Venezuela...annoying!Everybody get a pen and some paper...write to your local representative...if you live in a democracy...threaten to vote for someone else if they don't help reduce excise taxes...well it won't help, but you'll feel better! Only problem, I've been waitin' better than three years for the city to turn the water back on...oh well democracy is alive and well!

I fought with the fereral government for three years to get327 surveillance of Hofmann, Eric C. He used the word rump!a tobacco license. I think they're pretty much ignoring me by now!
