Tangiers Question...

Recommended Posts

I know just by reading the forums lately that Tangeirs has practically swept the forum as a go to tobacco. I have one question though. Is Tangiers stronger than Nakhla and other than the great buzz what are the pros and cons of tangiers?

Some find nakhla stronger and some find tangiers stronger. I find tangiers to be stronger, so i'd say it is a toss up depending on the person.

PRO: Lasts forever, tastes amazing, great buzz, requires low heat, and priced very well for what you get.

CONS: Very difficult for a Noob to pack. Took me a good amount of bowls to get it perfect.

Nakhla is more of a drop it in the bowl, use a little more heat than normal because it likes heat, and your good to go.

Personally, i think that tangiers has more buzz. But to me nakhla really hurts my lungs, and tangiers doesnt do that to me. I also didnt find it all that difficult to get tangiers going. Granted it was not perfected for quite a while, it was at least ok from the begining. I like tangiers, i dont like the buzz. Im about to try lucid to see if its better. Tangeirs is not for everyone.

Tangiers is definitely not for everyone.....I personally like tangiers and like the buzz effect from the tobacco. It does take awhile to perfectly pack a bowl of tangiers but the secret to packing a good bowl is to pack it extremly tight and put alot of holes on your foil.

There is a little work involved in smoking tangiers as well as you have to keep moving the coals around the moment you start to get any harshness out of it. However you do not need to rotate coals as often if you use a phunnel bowl.

I don't smoke tangiers often though because it hurts my throat. But once you have perfected the packing of a bowl it is definitely a good smoke.

you can trust the hookah websites in the vender section.
go to hookah-shisha.com they wont let you down

as far as ebay goes, they dont allow ppl to sell tobacco products.

The two tobaccos are very different. Nakhla has a heavier feeling to the smoke, and more 'classic' flavors. Tangiers has a slightly silkier smoke quality in my experience, and has a lot of novelty flavors. Both are good, but Nakhla has given me more buzz, and is also significantly cheaper.

I smoke both depending on my mood, but smoke Nakhla much more often.

I like Tangiers a lot. The Lucid version isnt making me very happy though. With watermelon I'm not getting the flavor intensity that I'm used to with Tangiers. With Lucid Blue Gumball, its not as tasty as say Brambleberry in the same arena. I still like them, just not 15 dollars worth of like.

My last 250g packs of regular Tangiers Watermelon has been awful too, though that's just me being unlucky. Tastes (and smells) nothing like it should, even after more than 24hrs of acclimation.

Anyways, I prefer Tangiers to Nakhla, although the buzz can some times be a bit too much for me. Will probably try some of the Lucid-line in my next order.

nakhla is dry or sticky if you will, big buzz. AF is pretty much no buzz, noob friendly, very wet, tons of flavor. If you are a noob i recommend AF.
