greeknate88
OK, so I have a Hafa with a nammor. I don't have the thunderous rattling when I hit it that many ppl complain about with KM's. Do you think it could be because the seal isn't tight? I haven't been able to notice any air leaking in/out from where the stem goes into the vase, but the grommet is a little damaged. I wish I had pics, but alas I do not. Anyone else have this problem? And which grommet(s) should I get from HC to fix this issue?http://www.hookahcompany.com/hookah_gaskets_25_ctg.htm
cotsi95
If its not leaking then i wouldnt worry about it.
AKammenzind
Well, before you go spending money I'd recommend that if your grommet is misshapen you should use a little bit of silicon sealant on it to make it a perfect fit. Just make sure it dries well before you put it in your vase, otherwise you might have a whole new problem, hehehe
OC4111
here's how you can check to see if the seal is tight. set up your hookah like you normally do except for putting shisha in the bowl. but the bowl on the stem and then put your hand over the bowl to cover it completely. then inhale as if your were smoking, if everything is working the way it should, then you should feel the suction on your hand. If there is a leak somewhere then this would be able to pinpoint it.

If there is a leak, would one of those large vase grommets from HC do the trick, or am I better off using a bunch of mya bands or some type of sealant? OC4111
I'm not sure if a sealant would work on the stem grommet, I can see the use if the leak is around the hose port or purge valve. As to whether to use the mya bands or large grommet...the thing with the grommet is that it's a potshot as to whether or not it's going to fit. if it's too big you can sand it down which is what I've had to do the grommet on my Exotica. It's been a bit of a hassle and i still haven't sanded it down to the correct width. with the mya bands you can just add or take aways as needed. SuburbanSmoker
The mya bands are amazing. i dont like having to put glues and sealents on my hookahs due to previous bad experiences not to mention its a lot more visually pleasing.

And how many would I need for a Hafa?
Codename067
You could possibly need more water in the base. Add a little more and see what happens.
NickReppinThe909
if your tray is rattling then just use the tongs to kind of clamp the tray to the platform where it sits and that should fix it if they are good enough tongs (mya tongs work great)
