rowland
QUOTE (mattarios2 @ Jul 22 2008, 04:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>It is 100% natural and completely safe. I got the kind with lemon scent in it.Well its not 100% natural, unless you count manmade chemicals and natural. However checking the MSDS i cant see anything thats gonna kill you outright. Just be sure to wash it with clean water afterwards to remove any chems.Question for you though, why would you want to use this? Lemon juice/baking soda should do the trick without worry. Victim026
I dunno, for $4 you can buy a bottle of simple green that would prolly last you 6-8 months cleaning a hookah 3-4 times a week. Lemons/Baking Soda cost exponentially more over that period of time. And i've never seen anything degrease an engine quite like simple green so I can only imagine how good of a job it will do with hookah slime, all while being safe and enviromentally sound. NickReppinThe909
DO NOT USE SIMPLE GREEN ON A TRI-METAL it will turn the copper a fucked up brown color and take a soak in tarn-x to get rid of the coloring
rowland
Bottom line is give it a try, IF you dont reply back we know to stay away ourselves lolHey just joking bro, seriously i can't see how it would kill you. At most it might smell really bad. One thing i was thinking though, is hookah build up greasy? I would think it would be more resinous as your burning sugar (basically)

mattathayde
ok in short if you wash it and rinse it out right away you should be fine, now for the average person the next part of this takes a little research and all (i dont think its to much but im into metal working so meh). check the chemicals in what ever you decide to use and see how they react with the metal your hookah is made from. that should tell you if you should use it or not-matt
