martha
Hello from a newly minted shisha owner!I've been seeing a lot of curiosity about the QT Mya, so I figured I'd give my quasi-ignorant two cents:My boyfriend presented it to me this Christmas...it came in this really cool metal cage/case... do all Myas come like this? The base is very sturdy, stable and well-made, not to mention gorgeous. (My bf mentioned he'd been thinking of getting me one for a while but hadn't found anything that he thought worthy of a spot in our living room !I dont have much experience setting up a shisha, so I can only say that in comparison to the smoke I have had at shisha lounges, this little bugger really holds up.. the smoke was very thick and rich once I got the hang of my foil perforations. I was very surprised as well how long one bowl lasted...the two of us smoked a bowl of Nakhla for a movie and a half (The first one being "A Very Long Engagement" also known as "A Very Long Movie"). Again I am not sure if this is typical, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the smoke at the end of the session was as thick as the last. This model is also super easy to clean, and its size makes it perfect for a tiny NY apartment...it packs away so neatly in its case that you can forget about it (not that I do!! )Anyway, there's my first post! hookahphxsmoker
nice, my gf really likes the pink QT Mya. Go figure. I wasn't sure how a hookah so small would smoke, so i bought a mini sultan hookah, with some shisha and coals all for like 30 bucks. She was worried that if a small hookah did not smoke to her liking, than she'd rather have an Atlantis, even though she preferred the QT appearance wise. I tried this hookah already today and gotta say that for such a small hookah its not too bad. I'll probably go ahead and order her the QT within the next few days. Looks like I have to find someone to take this mini sultan hookah off of my hands

Buford
A friend of mine bought me a QT for Xmas, with a cobalt blue base. Having smoked several different Egyptian-style shishas over the years I have to say that this one is by far my favorite. It's small, yes, but it smokes well and it built like a tank. The carrying basket it comes with is nice as well. It's very easy to clean and the parts fit together well. Being as most of the metal fittings screw in and can be removed it almost makes me feel like I'm field stripping a pistol to clean it when I'm cleaning this thing. Thus far, though, I've only had a chance to smoke Nakhla mixed fruit in it, although I've tried adding lemon juice and milk to the water in the base (but not at the same time!).This is my first post, BTW.
