Hookah Lounge / Liquids

So, I just got back from trying the new hookah lounge here in town (consequently my first) and have a few impressions. We went in the place and my first impression was beatnik diner (lots of random art and looked like an old diner). We sat down and got a food menu and a drink menu (upon asking we found out that the shisha was on the drink menu). So we start looking it over and all of the usual suspects are there (cherry, banana, cappucino, mixed fruit) so when the guy comes back I ask him what brand of shisha they use, and after I explain that shisha means hookah tobacco, he responds "OH! Well actually most of it comes right from the Middle East! *like I should be impressed* but I can't pronounce the name and a few come from the USA." I sort of roll my eyes and ask for the peach. He brings it out and tells us that he put some pineapple juice in the vase for us because it makes a really nice combo. He also said that they normally upcharge for this but since he knew my friend, we got it for free. So I take a good inhale of it and it was DELICIOUS! Not quite the best shisha (I suspect Nakhla), but the flavor combination was incredible. We smoke for a while and as a coincidence I take a sip of coffee after a draw and the flavor just got even better. So my new goal is to find a really good peach shisha, brew up some good coffee, and throw some pineapple juice in the vase to see how good this combo can really be.This leads me to my question: Does anyone else have any shisha/liquid combinations they've found that they really like?P.S Can anyone recommend a good peach with some nice, thick smoke?

Romman peach is one of the best ma'assels I've ever had. Period.Its slightly artificial tasting... which Tangiers told me his wasnt. I'll let you know what the Kashmir peach tastes like in a few days =)

I smoked Nakhla Peach and it was not a good experience.  It truely felt like smoking chemicals.  Also, its taste got stuck in my hookah even after I cleaned it.  I had to smoke a couple of bowls for the Peach taste to disappear.

Agh, that's frustrating... I just smoked a bowl of nakhla peach, so now I'm afraid of what the hookah is going to taste like next time I smoke... grr.

I think the tweaking may lead you to feel  Peach #2 is the best all-around peach. Kashmir Peach is kind of a flavor blend.I researched the same issue for a local lounge (liquids in jars). Try other stuff, too. Some of it works good.

i like to throw in apple juice and ice.gives it a nice taste.one time i put vodka(never put alcohol in your pipe!!!)i had a pounding headache!!! and about the coffe try and find some turkish coffee or greek coffee.its very strong but it goes good with hookah.next time your at a lounge order a turkish coffe with your hookah.
