mattarios2
Could this mess up tangiers? I have been packing it the same way for a while with great success. Yesterday it was about 85 out and cloudy. Around 4 it started to downpoor and the temp dropped incredibly fast to 60-65 or so. I had the tangiers acclimating and was thinking to myself hopefully this doesn't screw it up, so i did the packing and what not the same way as always. And it was horrible, got big clouds but damn burned and gave the tangiers burn that i used to get when i first started packing tangiers.Could the weather be the problem?!Thanks guys

Snoopy1966
I have to re-acclimate my Tangiers once in awhile also. Usually it is only when we have the season changes. I run my AC a lot and my Tobacco stays good. I Keep it in glad containers also. You will just find a flavor you open up one day and the smell is off, so I acclimate again. Now as I read your post a little more, while acclimating, that will screw it up when you have a change in humidity like that. Just gonna take longer now...Hope you have other flavors to smoke!!! It will be sunny for the whole day then a sudden drizzle/pour for like 5 minutes then sunny again. Come to think of it, it happens almost everyday, almost. mattarios2
Another thing I was thinking about ... I smoke in my basement, and in the summer we have a de-humidifier running down there, would this f up tangiers? Seeing the de-humidifer sucks out the humidity in the basement so throughout the day the humidity is changing constantly. What do you guys think? TizaNabi
I have asumed for quite a while that it's necessary and take anything out in humidty or heat change for an hour or more. Will not dry out your shisha. Don't lots of the cigar homies have those humidor things, even some where they have an anti-chamber walkin room which goes into the large room humidor and keeps the cigar at an even rate of humidity.
