greeknate88
QUOTE (mattarios2 @ Jul 25 2008, 02:38 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>topic title says it all. Thanks guysI don't like using anything other than water or alcohol. Brass is typically a mixture of zinc and copper. Acids can displace zinc metal, corroding them. Considering Vinegar contains acetic acid, with a pH of 2.4. I wouldn't take the risk of damaging my hookah. Use alcohol instead.
hookah hippie
I personally think it will be okay but I am not a chemist in the least
Scoop
it wont melt your hookah, however vinegar will cause it to tarnish faster as it will lift the tarnish, then you need to polish the area...but if you dont, it will retarnish fasteruse lemon juice + baking soda.
