blow_some_O's
hey guys, so my 19th birthday has finally come and now i can finally get a hookah. i live in long island, NY. and for some odd reason the legal age to buy tobacco is 19 here. and 18 everywhere else in the state. so dumbb. anyways, i can now finally get a hookah and start smoking. i have smoked some of my friends hookahs before and loved it. i couldve gotten one even tho i was 18, but was never a top priority. But now that im 19, it hit me. i can get a hookah legally, and dont have to worry about getting in trouble for it. so if u guys could help, what is some good shisha and what is the best kind of hookah? and also... is there a difference in smoke thickness between the smaller hookahs and the bigger ones?all comments are welcome. I suggest nakhla for starters as tangiers is not for a beginner. For hookahs, I'd recommend a KM b/c they have one of the easiest pulls, look gorgeous, and are priced well for what they are. If you want something small don't go with KM, I'd suggest a MYA QT or MYA Bambino. MZ's have also been reported to smoke very well and incredibly well priced for what they are. Size does not make a difference in terms of amount of smoke, the technique to pack the bowl and skill in packing the bowl will yield more or less smoke.I hope this helps goodluck. Victim026
Can't go wrong with a Magdy Zidan in this situation, your just startin out and this will get you great smoke at a steal of a price leaving you lots of cash to get shisha/accesories to make your sessions that more special. Personally for a starter rig I'd pick up any Magdy Zidan, a phunnel bowl, a nammor/razan hose, and some Al Fakher/Al Waha shisha. It'll do you right and get you great quality at the same time. Victim026
Starbuzz has no buzz factor whatsoever, and on top of that most of the flavors are horribly unspectacular especially at the rediculous price you pay for it.

melanko
Awesome. Happy birthday. That's odd that the legal tobacco age is 19 in NY. I wonder why?But to repeat what has already been mentioned, go Khalil Mamoon or even Maya hookahs. Tangiers (lucid style if you are sensitive to nicotine) and Al Fakhar. I also like Starbuzz but its pretty pricey and sometimes gives me a buzz, but not every time. I only smoke it because it's the only good brand I can get locally.
