Sonthert
The incidence of habituation is far, far lower in people who wait until they're 18...that being said...mom has her logic, you have yours. That being said, the only logical thing to go at would be its cheaper to smoke at home rather than going to the local lounge. If you're going to do it anyways, you might as well save money at it.That being said, good luckThat being said, does that help at all?
HookahDuck
Try to point out to her that for most people, hookah smoking is non habit forming. You will only smoke occasionally(say on weekends), and you will keep it outside(this seems to make them happier). Also, show her the side of a package of ma'ssel where it says 0% tar and .5% nicotine- while we all realize this is slightly false advertising, your mother wont. The argument of "The water filters out the carcinogins" also applies here. Not the most honest thing in the world to do, but im a Libertarian; if you want to kill yourself via lung cancer, its your choice!Health concerns and smell/frequency seem to be most people's biggest concerns. It helps if you mention the history behind water pipes and how long they've been traditionaly used. Remember, people are affraid of what they dont understand. Show her a still from Alice in Wonderland(if either of you have seen it) and it will often lessen her dilema[Hey, if its in a kids movie- it must be ok, right?].Hope I helped. I had to help convince my girlfriend's parents that my hookah wasnt a bong, and that it was ok for her to own one a few months ago... all these seemed to work
