Missed The End Of Dark Knight

Recommended Posts

okay, so at the end theres that 3 minuted of dialogue, and my wife and i BOTH missed an important line, we have a 4 year old so going back to see it again anytime soon is kinda out of the question.

so at the end, it sounded like batman said "i killed those people" shortly after the line about if a hero lives long enough he gets to see himself become a villain or whatever....

what the hell, anyone got a basic rundown on the end as to why the police went chasing after the bat?

Batman was telling Gordon to lie for him. If it word got out that Harvey Dent killed those people, then Gotham's White Knight would be tarnished. Basically, Batman was taking the blame for what Harvey did, thus preserving Gotham's last ray (albeit dead) of hope. Hence the title: The Dark Knight. Make sense?

!!!SPOILER IF YOU HAVENT SEEN IT!!! DONT READ IT UNLESS YOU SAW IT

My buddies and I were discussing after the movie that it sucks that the character who could be in the next movie cant be (Ledger) and the guy that played two face could be but his character is dead? I could have cared less about Ledger dying until I say him play Joker, now day to day life for me has been dull. haha

I am sad that there will be no Two Face in the next movie...there was so much building up to that character and it felt short-lived to me. However, don't the batman movies traditionally have different villians in every movie anyway?
