Romman tobacco..

Recommended Posts

Well, I've only smoked hookahs a few times before.
But I just got one, and it took me up until last night to find tobacco
for it.  Massachusetts makes that really hard, and the one shop I
found after several hours only stocked Romman, and only in about 5
flavors.
So I picked up a few, and two of my friends and I sparked up a few bowls of Double Apple.

This.. was not nearly as flavored as the ones I have tried in the
past.  Very distinct tobacco flavor.... but as a cigar smoker, I
wasn't smoking the double apple for the tobacco.

The other flavors I got, Cocktail and Cherry, seem to be the same.

Is that terribly normal?  I got the hookah because of memories of
very distinctly flavored smoke, not this tobacco flavor I'm used
to.
Is this just because of the "premium" stuff I picked up, the specific flavors, etc?

Any reccomendations of specific brand/flavors that are very strongly flavored?

if you are looking for more "candy" sugary type flavors as Mush would say, I would HIGHLY recommend Al Fakher Apple, Melon, Cherry, Grape, Strawberry and the Golden Seal Al Fakher Esk. (can't spell it fully) green apply flavor.
The more "candy" like Romman flavors I have smoked are Romman Raspberry, Peach, their Pineapple is semi-decent too....
hope this helps!!

Sure, I've always the utmost respect for Al-Waha. Fast-buck guys come and go, and Al-Waha/Romman have changed, but they still stay true to form. I understand they stopped using honey for the cheaper corn syrup, oh well....From the prices I've seen, I think you can do better with Saet Safa or Nahkla than buying Romman...well most brands, except Starbuzz, are cheaper than Romman, some of equal quality. I recommend T...                               Stop that!I said Ta-                               Stop it now! But, I was just going to say T-                           That does it...you know these people all                               know what brand you like, stop                                       harassing them and say your sorry.I'm sorry. Tangiers. Ha!Try Tangiers Liquorice, if you like Double Apple. I have a couple of friends whose reaction to liquorice is "This would be the best flavor there is, if it didn't taste like liquorice"
