New To Hookah, What To Buy?

I just got a $50 gift card to Amazon.com and figured now is the time to get a hookah! I just can't figure out what all I need to get. I'm thinking about getting this one: http://tinyurl.com/5ccwl8 . What do you think? Also, what type of bowl should i get? I read clay is the best but then I see a bunch of people getting a Phunnel. What's the difference? Also, what else do I need? Any help I can get would be much appreciated! Thanks!

So I noticed the hookah comes with a bowl so I guess I don't need to worry about that. But i'm not sure if it comes with washable hoses; should I get some of those?

I wouldn't be so sure of ordering from Amazon, but since they go through Texas Hookah, you should be alright, just post some links of the ones you like, and we should be able to tell you.

Most hoses arent washable if they are the coil ones like in the first one. I think the Nammor/Razan hoses are the best for washable hoses

OK so I'm pretty sure I'm going to get this one, the acrylic one from Texas Hookahs. Will this one work for me as my first hookah? Also, do you guys use those little plastic things that hookah bars use when you smoke? And what flavors do you recommend?

That's actually not a bad hookah. If by "little plastic things", you are referring to the plastic sanitary hose tips, then no. At least I do not since I mainly smoke by myself. Depends on how well you know your friends...

Use those mouth tips (the plastic things) if you are iffy that the person you are smoking with might have a cold or shit like that this way you probably wont get it, basically use them for those who want it but if your by yourself and with close friends who you know arent infected with nasty shit don't worry about it. As for tobacco definitely try some Al Fakher (AF), good flavors are grape (some might disagree they have gotten ketchup smelling batches), watermelon, peach, mixed fruit and for a couple dollars more try the Golden Al Fakher Eskandarani Apple you wont regret. Also try Nakhla especially if you want a stronger buzz the flavor I recommend for that is Double Apple. Don't forget to get coals and you really should try smoking with natural coals however if you cant or dont really have a convenient way of lighting them use quick lights. 3 kings is one of the best for quick light coals and for naturals people use Exoticas, Coco Nara(one of my favorite brands), finger coals, jap coals, and lump charcoal (another favorite). Look in the review section for a detailed explanation of the coals and tobacco.
