When Smoking Tangiers...

I followed a tutorial on here for packing a tangiers phunnel with tangiers tobacco and yeah my sessions suck, the smoke is decent but theres still a hint of harshness. I use tangier's wash tobacco in a medium tangiers phunnel bowl. i put 4 canary gold natural coals on the bowl and yeah, it seems the coals die fast and my session is way shorter than my other ones would be, even with quick lights. can someone help?

1.)how high are you packing it? 1/8 of an inch above the bowl, 1/8 below the bowl, or right to the edge of the bowl?

2.)What size holes are you using/what are you using to poke the holes?

3.)Are you poking all the way down to the bottom of the bowl?

4.)Are you using alot of holes, some holes, or very few holes?

I pack it an eighth above the bowl, i use a toothpick for a poker and go all the way to the bottom of bowl, i use many holes, just lines of them across the foil surface.

also...
make sure you have acclimated it, aside from that, before packing the bowl, stir the shisha to get the juices all through...I noticed with mine it mostly sinks to the bottom of the jar.

By tangiers wash do you mean tangiers lucid? If so I'm not sure why you're having trouble. I just got mine in and it was no different than normal tobacco other than it was way better tasting and lasted wayyyy longer.

4 bowls is usually perfect w/ those coals, that's why i didnt comment on that. But could be a def. possibility.

I use two cocos, about every hour. 3 after the first hour if I want massive clouds.

Probably your best bet if you are having trouble I am sure he will gladly help you out
