krew944
i dont know how the tangier is suppose to smoke. but i just bought 250gram of kashmir peach and 250gram of gauva and tryed it. i have heard many good reviews about it but i have not gotten any result for myself. maybe i have been doing something wrong but i bought it from hookahcompany. it came like describe: really dark and different from other brands. when i smoked it i felt a really harsh smoke going into my lungs. i tryed what other people have said on there reviews. i tryed using only one japanese coal. it gave good amount of smoke but it was really harsh on my lungs. i did get a good buzz off of it but i couldnt take much of it. i dont know what i am doing wrong but it is pretty idsapointing to me. i know many people went through this but i read other reivews and i did exactly as they did and still no result... maybe i am doing something wrong. maybe someone can help me make it right. help me out everyyone thank you
Sonthert
1. Allow the tobacco to be exposed to the open air for several hours, even a full 24 hours, before smoking. The humidity level where I am and the humidity level where you are is probably very different. 2. Clean your pipe/jar/head very well. Old residue from corn-syrup based tobaccos are common. My flavors "scrub" the old flavors out of the pipe to reduce the old "It still tastes like that last thing" problem. The first time or two, if you don't clean it, you will have poor results because my tobacco is actually cleaning all the old flavor residue out of your pipe/hose/bowl for you.3. Use a good hose, dirty hoses make for poor smoking. They contain residue that won't come out without ruining the hose. 4. My phone number should be on the bottom of the sheets from the packages, call me. Leave a message if I don't answer.5. Some people don't like Kashmir Peach6. Some people don't like guava.7. The tobacco is very intense, compared to other brands. It may not be your thing. The flavors and aromas are more vibrant than other companies, at least I think so.8. None of the above.Your problem sounds normal, I hear it alot. I think the first couple of suggestions will work it out for you.
[LB]
that first step is KEY! and then its . someone (i believe brad) said that if your uncurl some of the leaves it makes it better as well. Tangiers, what would happen if i threw your tobacco in a grinder?

mushrat
Krew: remember, this stuff is different. You HAVE to follow the directions. Alos, its got going to taste all nice and sweet and candy like as does AF or AA. This stuff, while damn tasty, is exactply what its supposed to be, Flavoured Tobacco. Took each of us a few tries to get it right, but I assure you it will be work it.

HookahDuck
you will be able to get used to it... See my review for my thoughts on the stuff. At first I could only take shallow drags but after one session I was able to puff the stuff for 5-8 seconds. I assume the next one, I'll grow a little more accustomed to it.Dont give up! Tangiers is worth it!

Sonthert
You cant please all the people all the time. Did you clean your pipe well, before my tobacco? If you aren't in the habit of cleaning your hookah or it is very old and well smoked, the residue could be very stubborn. Like I said, call me and we can work it out. I think it could be a cleaning issue. There are places in your hookah that are "wet" or that see smoke but are nearly impossible to clean through normal means.
