Setting Up A Mya Bambino

ok i bought a mya bambino today. I unscrewed the stem and this clear little o-ring fell out. On the stem there is a black o-ring under the threads... but then theres this clear o-ring that i have absolutely no idea where it goes... Please help asap, i wanna smoke this

On my Mya,not sure if it's the same...The WHITE O-Ring goes underneath the metal disk underneath the ash-tray.


But you honestly DONT need it...I think it just helps hold the Ash-Tray in place

On the QT's there is a metal disk,big metal disk...Should be the same on Bambinos.

Okay...the downstem comes apart.

Bottom part goes in the stem, then o ring on top of the stem and screw the bowl part of the stem back on.

I got 2...if i didn't describe it well enough PM and I will send you a pic tomorrow.

well now, its really starting to make me angry, i keep getting water buildup under my tray. And i know for a fact its not condensation. So what is the cause of this? too much water? purging to hard? btw the o-ring i was talking about ripped so i tossed it. And now the stem wiggles... (not easily but it does)

Black o ring goes beneath the decorative stem, the clear goes above. They are NEEDED for an airtight seal.

The clear o-ring should go underneath the stem adapter that holds the bowl and it goes above the metal disc this helps the air seal

It actually makes no difference in that regard... I've had my Bambino for a year, lost that ring about 4 months ago and never got around to replacing it. It's only there to make twisting off the head easier.

If the stem wiggles, that's because you lost the black rubber washer that goes between the stem and the chamber. Shouldn't affect the smoke but if it bothers you, you should be able to find replacements anywhere that sells plumbing supplies.

Regarding the water build-up... are you sure it's water, and not hookah juice? I get hookah-juice buildup there all the time, from the shisha fluids dripping down the grommet. It's just about unfathomable that water would build up there, unless you're purging so hard that you soak the shisha (completely ruining it, trust me you'd notice) and probably putting out the coals.

Theres a little round rubber that goes UNDER the bowl pointy thing, youy can unscrew it. I lost mine and it doesn't really make a difference but im not sure if you're talking about that. For the water fill it up 5 spikes from the bottom. The bottom spike is the smallest n count up 4 so it = to 5.

yes, ive come to the conclusion that it was shisha juice dripping down. i put a phunnel on there and nothing! so yes it was shisha juice. and thanks for the replies guys!
