Kenny Pollock
What's the best bang for the buck shisha? AF?I see people raving about these "KM" hookahs... I like the exotica, but it's a bit expensive. Locally I bought my last hookah for $30 and my small one for $15... both have been great for almost a year. Is it worth it? I feel like if I spend $80+ on a hookah it should be crazy looking and impress my friends who come over to puff. I also wish it was a two hoser. Also, I've been using 3 Kings coal forever. Is there a better coal?I bought wood ones before, got them, and they were so awkardly big and uneven... hard to break to fit on the bowl, and hard to light since I don't want to go leave a coal sitting on my grill for 20 minutes. ryno
For the money, you can't go wrong with AF or Nakhla...I've never smoked a KM, but from what I've heard around here, they are some of the best built hookahs out there, I know my next one will be a KM.For coals, you had the natural lump charcoal which ive never had a good experience with. Try CocoNaras or Exoticas
Kenny Pollock
Exoticas coal like this: http://shop.gothookahs.com/product.sc?cate...p;productId=105 ?How would I use that on the bowl? How do I light it?

How do I light it?Yep, those are the Exoticas. You have to score them with something, then break them into either 3rds or quarters... Naturals need a constant heat source to light, like a stove or a propane torch, both work fine, but a stove works better
Kenny Pollock
Are they really worth the extra effort over my 3 Kings coals? Is there something small I can plug into my bedroom to light the coals you think?

Walgreens sells a small single coil burner that you can plug in, that would work fine for your room

Canon
since youve been doing 3 kings for so long when you switch over to exoticas you wont notice any difference, but after you have smoked 1-3 boxes of exoticas then try 3 kings youll notice the difference in taste. srawas89
Definately AF is a great quality shisha you should try their Eskandarani Apple (I know I feel like a whore every time someone asks about a good AF flavor and I respond with Esk. APple but hey its that good haha) and Nakhla is very very good as well esp. if you want a bigger buzz. FOr Nakhla go with the double apple. As for hookah Mya's KM's and MZ's are good I have smoked out of all of them and they are good, if you are on a budget def. go with an MZ. As for coals I love Coco Naras and I am sad that I just ran out and dont have the money right now to purchase more but they really are wonderful, that stove will work as I many people on this forum use it and if you need to use quick lights 3 Kings is your best bet. that is my advice so go now and buy some AF Eskandarani Apple and some Nakhla Double Apple
hookah hippie
AF is great quality for the money and a KM or MZ are impressive pipes to smoke and I would go with natural coals not a big fan of quick lights unless there is no other option
Mahir
Stick to the AF and Nakhla for the tobacco. It's going to be the best value really. As for coals....if you are on the go, then keep using your 3 Kings. However if you have a coil burner or a propane camping stove stove, go for some naturals. I would recommend the Exotica coals since they are what I use for naturals and I have to say that I like them a lot -Mahir Nazar Hookah
hookah hippie
be careful with those propane camping stoves you don't want to carry that around with it propane can be extremely dangerous

Any hookah can last that long IMO as long as you do your part in cleaning it.
