mikeypas
I've got a mya colossus and i remember someone telling me to go get an airsoft ball to replace the metal ball in the purge valve.but on recently checking, the metal ball is contained within the metal purge valve that you can unscrew (ie. you can unscrew the purge valve, but you cannot get access to the metal ball)..any ideas? is this the norm for mya? Take a towel wrap it over the purge and take needle nose pliers or regular pliers and put it on the edge and twist, a little piece will unscrew out of the purge valve and there it will be, your little shiny ball! hookah hippie
the mya purge valve unscrews from the stem but also can have the top unscrewed so you can remove the bearing it just takes a little finessing
Stuie
Two slip-joint pliers, one on the top of the purge and another just about the top of the threads and twist in opposite directions. I keep two slip-joints in the kitchen for when I clean out my hookahs for just this occasion.
piperjason
that funny. on my QT it is far easier to get to the check ball than to get the entire assembly off.I am quite happy with the steel ball in there, I just take it out when I clean the pipe.
