...Just that I reflected more on the OP and didn't want to cut covo by merely dismissing it as "crazy." I thought I'd resurrect convo on this thread, but it seemed to die a natural death.

i dont think he ment it as worshiping of the self and to be "satanic".. this is good stuff and people beleive what they want to believe. my personal thought on religion in general is just a way of keeping order in society and with most religions to keep everybody happy and freindly towards each other. religion brings answers to people such as what happens after death, so that we spend more time on making our lives better and ourselves happier instead of focusing on death and other mysteries of the world and universe. religion is a good idea and had good motives at first but human nature took over and now we fight wars just to say that one god is more right than another. it is bs but it is human nature. i see it more from a scientific point of view and believe in evolution but still many answers lay unanswered and some people just choose not to think about it like me or choose to believe in god and blame and credit god for everything left unanswered.
