Warning - Hookah Can Cause Death

Recommended Posts

this reminds me of a video I saw about "hookah is bad" crap and they showed this bowl on there that looked like soomeone took a shit on in, there also kept on showing a quicklite being lit and changed the lighting and used badddddd quicklites so it looked like tons of smoke was coming out of it this. People just look down on it because the dont understand it and I think that this is also the kind of political shit that got "soft drugs" illegalized. No I don't do drugs but I think that this is the kind of crap that make everyone want to illegalize it, it make people scared and turn in the media/politics favor.

My favorite line is "hookah contains noxious, addictive, adulterated and poisonous concoction (which is otherwise unfit for human consumption and not even classified as food product)"

When is tobacco ever classified as FOOD???

Ahahahahaha!!!! laugh.gif So true! I don't think, in all of tobacco's 1000+ year history of human smoking that it has ever been used as a quick snack on the go! Come on people.

Also, there are a lot of studies that have been done that contradict many of the studies done by Big Pharma and their anti-smoking products.

I can't remember most of the websites I've gone to but velvetgloveironfist.com has some pretty intersting material on the other side of this topic.

These anti-everything lunatics will stop at nothing to sell a new drug and prove something is dangerous. And if these studies shake you, remember this, "Everyone. Everything. Everywhere. Dies." --Six Feet Under

Guys all I know is that soon enough we probably will have the right answers to these questions. Recently I was informed that the American University of Beirut (AUB) was given 3 million dollars towards research on the effects of hookah smoking. I consider the AUB as a fair institution however some may disagree none the less I don't think this much money was ever put into researching the effects of hookah smoking all at once so hopefully it will provide some more concrete answers that can actually be backed up by facts where whoever is writing the article will be able to cite such facts instead of making it look like what they are saying are facts when in fact they are absurd interpretations.

I imagined that this article was written by a whole bunch of angry mothers who decided to go by their own facts.

I would second that comment.

It says right on the box that smoking can cause cancer and increases the risk of heart disease. We knew this. Why, oh why, do they have to want to ban stuff that we enjoy doing? Next is going to be sex, we all know it. Somehow it's dangerous. Maybe they need to focus on work, because that makes all of our lives stressful, which can cause a whole host of different ailments. clean.gif

DAMN I'll support work getting banned! At least give us mandatory holiday like in europe or give us some sort of midday siesta. Us Americans work our asses off. Work smarter not harder i say! I'm tireddddd....

It is actually used quite a lot in Indian cooking, but that has nothing to do with how lucid tongue.gif the article really is.

hookahs can cause death? well, guess what? SO CAN WATER!
I was thinking something similar. Walking down the street can cause death as well.

Hell, even breathing the wrong way can cause death. There aren't many things that doesn't cause death and as expected, smoking hookah doesn't fit in that category.

Guess what else might be dangerous? Cellphones, adapters, p.c.'s house pets, your home drinking water, plastic baby bottles, fiberglass wool filling between the walls of houses built in 1950's,60's and 70's. Sun rays, Sting Rays, sharks, scuba diving, home electricity. Life is dangerous so don't take yours too seriously. (But take your fellow human's life VERY seriously).
