New To Hookah.

I started visiting my local hookah bar about a month ago. Decided that it would save me money if I bought my own. I picked a smaller Mya hookah. I normally use Hookah Hookah and AF tobacco.

So far I've had three great sessions using 3 Kings quicklights. Yesterday I bought two 250 g tubs of Hookah Hookah (Watermelon and Vanilla). I set the hookah up the same way I normally do (One peice of foil, 1 and a half coals and filled the bowl just under the rim.)

Normally I have thick smoke and great taste, but last night I didn't have either.

Could it be bad tobacco or just a wack session?

hookah hookah isnt known for great plumes of smoke

Hmmm. I had been blowing thicker smoke with hookah hookah then with starbuzz at the hookah bar. I wouldn't mind having less smoke as long as the flavor was there. But it tasted extremely harsh.

You have too much heat if it's harsh. Try switching to 2 coals and leave a little space between the foil and the shisha so it doesn't burn directly. If your shisha is dry, add a touch of honey to it as well.
