nope im 20, just my mom is a die hard about no smoking, my brother doesnt even live with us and has to hide the fact that he smoked ciggarettes.

Parents can be pretty hypocritical! My mom smoked in college and she said she didnt want me smoking, however, I do anyways because I enjoy it. My parents and I just dont talk about it really anymore. They know I smoke but they just dont want to hear about it or talk to me about it. So it just kind of stays in the background!

I'm 20 and my parents don't know I've smoked hookah for over 3 years. Pretty sure they wouldn't approve, so I keep most of my hookahs at my room down at school in Champaign, and I have a Mya Gyro locked up in a case in the trunk of my car. The parents have never asked about that big black case, though that might be because they don't often use my car.

I'll often smoke after they've gone to bed. I'll go down to the basement, stick some clothes under the door, unplug the smoke detector and puff away. A few fans pointed towards windows blows the smoke quickly out. I do have to be pretty careful about coals accidentally dropping. It's only happened once and I picked it quick. It's a small burn that's now covered up by a coffee table. When I'm done, quick clean up with Febreeze and they're none the wiser.

Wow. Those are serious lengths to have to go to.

My mothers tries it occasionally and my dad takes a few pulls everytime I set it up. I set it up at my grad party because everyone was curious...my grandma even tried it. She thought it was great. My mom smokes hookah but she doesn't like me smoking it or at least frequently, she is fine with smoking like once a month but I smoke about 1-2 times a week however she doesn't know that I smoke that frequently as I usually go to hookah bars anyway.

I'd just be honest and tell your parents about it, thats what I did. They still don't like that I smoke, but will let me smoke at home as long as its outside. Just try to be open and honest to them, and ask them to be too.

my parents know that i smoke. my mom doesn't care but my dad hates it. i've tried to tell him its just flavored tobacco but he won't listen. they don't know that i smoke in my basement though... i don't see why you spray febreeze. after smoking hookah in my basement just about everyday for the past couple weeks my basement just smells very fruity.

After a few weeks of talking to my parents about it and explaining everything they finally let me buy a hookah. Now they're really chill about it, i can smoke in my room as long as the window's open too.

Back in Cape Town I was smopkinh hookah alot and my mum didn't mind that much. She would try if I brought a new flavour etc. But now that we have moved to New Zealand with my dad, he just quite smoking and said that its my choice after giving me the smoking lecture.

About the topic, I smoke when my parents arent home and at friends, outside in the summer and so on, they just wont understand/not willing to and are to stubborn to listen

my parents dont mind that i smoke. i can be inside or outside. most ppl taht come over say the house smells good. i dont live with my parents anymore, thanks college, but when i go back for the weekend its all good.

When I told my parents that I wanted a hookah they were cool with it. My friend was big into hookah and her dad is a doctor so that kinda won them over. They even smoked it when I first got it, but they don't much care for it themselves. I smoke at home all the time, either on the porch or outside.

My parents aren't too fond about it, but they allow it outside. Their biggest concern was what kapten kanel already mentioned, that i would use it for other stuff.. But since I live alone most of the year, I can smoke wherever and whenever I want. Only problem is that next week I'll be getting a shipment containing two hookahs, 2 pounds of shisha and 2 pounds of coals at home. That might come up at the dinner table

My parents are against me smoking but I am an adult and I make an adult decision about smoking besides I live in Southern CA and my parents in Northern CA
