Canon
I got alex as a birthday gift from my mom when i turned 12 years old. He was a puppy then, as he grew up he liked to jump up on you and knew nothing, it was then i started teaching him disclipline. i taught him the basics, dont jump, sit, stay, go to your spot, lay, ect. (he never quite got fetching suprisingly). I also taught him not to lick me (something that annoys me with all dogs) instead he would lick the air. well instead of jumping on you he did something ive seen no other dog do. he would jump backwards while facing you and spin occasionly (while licking the air). he did this for as long as i can remember. he was always a good dog, he never required a leash and would follow by your side or run off and explore when i gave him the command, everytime i called him he came. alex died shortly after i arrived in japan, he is to be cremated and put in the urn of my choice. Goodby Alex, your the best dog ive had.Alex ~June 20 1999- ~Aug. 9 2008

Snoopy1966
Sorry to hear of your dog Canon. I had a dog when I was a little kid that my parents bought a month before I was born. He lived until he was 17 years old and they had to put him to sleep because he had arthritis so bad and was losing his sight also. It was a sad day in my life because he was my buddy. RIP Alex.
