neffertiti
so, I was just digging around in my apartment and found a Kamal box of bananna and am smoking it, and just wondering if anything ever happened with that or it just vanished into dust?from what I remember, it wasn't bad and the bananna right now isn't too bad

mushrat
The tobacco they used wasn't what most plces use. So it had a very strange tobacco taste to it.

Codename067
I think the only flavor that I finished all the way was the Fruit Mix [is that's what it was called]It was decent, but not decent enough for me to think about purchasing later on. Sahara Smoke Co
Kamal is now on the market for sale. Kamal was a fake test name used by a "major tobacco compnay" who contacted this forum and others to find test subjects for the brand. many of you received kamal as samples and helped to develop Jewels. Kamal is now Jewels Molasses Tobacco. They have 8 flavors available and are working on others. From what i was told by a sales rep. from jewels, they sent out 400 samples to hookah smokers around the US to find out what they didnt like about shisha and shisha brands. after reading all the feedback they worked hard to perfect jewels, to make it what the consumer wanted. (it sounded like he was reading from a script when he was telling me about jewels) I never saw kamal so I dont know what they changed in it to make jewels. im not sure if they changed the type of tobacco they were using with kamal. Jewels is available in 50g packs and 500g cans. Jonathan

Snoopy1966
Looks like the same color packaging as Kamal. I wonder what they changed? The stuff was like a rock when it was done, it was a real pain to clean your bowl, and it took a ton of heat to get any good smoke from. It smelled pretty good, but the taste was not very good. Gaius
I want to thank everyone that responded to our product development on Kamal. Those that did will be getting samples sent of our revamped product under the name Jewels within the next few weeks. The feedback we received was tremendous and very very helpful. We feel strongly that the best way to make a quality product is to get the people smoking it (especially the die-hards) to try it, sample it and let us know what they think. And most importantly LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SAY. And listen we did, and we acted upon what we heard. The suggestions for improvement we got were tremendous, and we implemented them into our new version (which is very different from the old). Again, I wish to thank the members of this forum for their help. Gaius
