newjacksm
I was wondering how to place the quick lites on the tangiers small funnel bowl?
Jeff_T
I would say light 2 of the place them hanging a little off the edge straight across for one another, leave them there and don't move, except to ash if you please. After those are out, light 2 more and place them hanging off the edge again, across from one another but move them 90 degrees around the the original positions.. Ex. Start here O--O and move to O|O Edited August 14, 2008 by Jeff_T

Jeff_T
I would say if you're using 1/2 go with 3 pieces evenly spaced along the edge of the bowl... You could try only going with 2, but i use 4 for a session with my standard egyptian and its smaller than a funnel. Just depends on the shisha and how long you want the session to last. tlmasonaea
Four pieces is a little much and I find that it burns my tangiers quickly. I use three quicklights, when I use quicklights, arranged in a triangle. The second round gets rotated 30 degrees or so from the first round, etc.

And yes that would be too much for tangiers.Rememer - not Just tangiers can go into the funnel bowl

I just gots me a couple of phunnel's, and some Tangiers and Al Fakher are on the FedEX truck out for delivery. I'll probably just stick with the coconoras for the Tangiers though, unless I'm in a bind.

I thought he was talking about tangiers in the phunnel not the tangiers phunnel in general. I do use 4 1/2s for most non-tangiers stuff, but only 3 for tangiers (when I have to use them...).
