does all the black stuff come out with the metal wool?


yes, eventually. takes a lot of scrubbing. i tried to boil it and it didn't make it any easier to clean. still had to scrub for a while

Meant to write in this thread but posted in the glass screen review by accident, whoops!

Do you guys think the soot/burned shisha adversely affects the way the screen performs? I guess it could potentially block the heat transfer but I can't imagine it'll be that drastic. Or is it just for cleanliness that you want to scrub every bit of black off?

Has anyone tried alcohol i(sopropanol, ethanol)? A good solvent ought to work quite well and a quick rinse afterward should remove any residue. I just got my screen and phunnel so I'll report back with any findings.
