coplinb
Well even in a slow sellers market, I have to sell my house. I know, bad idea right now, but my grandmother passed away recently and I am buying her house as soon as I can sell mine. Ill will be definitly be taking a loss on house now, only because I have only lived here a year, but if it means that I can buy a house thats been in my family since its been built, then so be. So wish me luck everyone, the realtor is coming over today and the ball will be rolling!

coplinb
QUOTE (blckngld760 @ Aug 14 2008, 07:19 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>how much are you asking??As of right now, the starting asking price is 69,900. That is a decent price for a small starter home in the area and is def. a good deal. the only problem is that there are quite a few forclosed homes in the area. Pay your mortgages people! coplinb
That might take a little longer unless a bum will do. maybe my fiance will, we really want this house sold!
Giant Ninja Robot
For real JD the housing market is insane right now... I know a fellow who snagged a 5 BR house ON A PRIVATE LAKE in a nice semi-rural area with full lake access, a huge deck, and the works beyond that for about 180,000 US....3 years ago it was going for about 400,000 US. Wrap your mind around that one. Dammit I wish it was 5-10 years from now so we had the scratch for a down payment... It's particularly crazy here in Michigan where Coplin and I are from and I wants me a house
MechAnt
JD, buy a house out here in the US within the next year. We're gonna see a nice little crash. People who keep their finances in order and practice financial savvy will be just fine. My family and I have been living in a half decent apartment ever since I moved out to california and my parents are damn well prepared to buy some property soon! I'm very excited (I know, I'm slightly terrible but hey, for my family's benefit....)
