Phunnel, Supercheif, Vortex?

thanks for all the great feedback but im still not really sure the difference in the phunnel and the vortex in flavor, and smoke density.

Im leaning toward the phunnel jsut because of the glass screen add on.

The holes on the vortex also seem smaller which may hinder the pull...flavor is probably similar. The best comparison is probably phunnel with scalli vs vortex, because phunnel without scalli is a different style

I'm pretty sure the glass screen will work on other bowls...someone please correct me if I'm a very bad person and misleading (haha)

I bought a Vortex Bowl through Sahara Smoke. It should be coming tomorrow. I'll probably make a post about it with some pics.

I have a medium super chief and a medium phunnel.


I also usually smoke with 3-4 people.

We NEVER finish a bowl with the phunnel - ever. It's a ton of shisha - if you DO get it, get the small one - trust me, it's MORE than enough.

The Medium Super Chief is a bit smaller - I usually use that most of the time for anything that's not tangiers. You can pack it a bit more all along the sides than a regular bowl, and it's not so so big that 4 people can't finish it.

For personal sessions or just with 2 or 3 and I know we won't kill off a Super Chief, I go with my regular old egyptian. Still works wonders.

ok i use a phunnel bowl, and it smokes amazingly well! And i have tried the new vortex bowls, and u can pack less shisha but still get just as long sessions as u can with the phunnel! As for the superchief ive never used one so i would not have any input on that
