piperjason
After shopping around all week I was pretty much settled on getting a KM from either hookahcompany or thehookah, namely this one (http://www.hookahcompany.com/caramana_khal...h_3207_prd1.htm), but then today I saw in another post related to gotHookahs this pipe from MZ http://shop.gothookahs.com/product.sc?cate...mp;productId=27.So, really, what is the driving factor between the $20 difference? Is one made out of a different material than the other (I thought both were stainless)? Is it that the KM comes with a nicer hose, which I may want anyway to make up the difference? Is it the name that you are paying for?Granted, I still need to weigh other factors like shipping costs, available coupons (gotHookahs doesn't have one right now, correct?), etc, but $20 difference is a lot of ground to make up. piperjason
then again, looking around at gotHookahs they are a lot cheaper without a coupon on some of their pipes...
vin13
I've never smoked an MZ so I can't attest to how they compare to a KM there but as far as looks, the KM beats it hands down. I'm sure either choice would be a great pipe that you would be very satisfied with.
Stuie
It's the different brands essentially, and demand. About 7-8 months ago the prices where reversed. When KM came back into America a month or two ago, people were wanting them so the price jumped a lot.
Stuie
You can't miss with any of them. 7" will cool the smoke a little bit more, but honestly it's mostly just appearance. I would choose between the KM Classic, which is a great pipe and the Nefertiti which is a great pipe. Tough choice. In the end I would probably pick the MZ. vin13
Pipe length will effect the smoothness of the smoke but not by a very noticeable amount. I have a 36" KM thats very similar to option #2 and its perfect. Cleaning it isn't too bad, just take the long stem brush into the bathtub and put it through a few times. The Stainless steel stems on the new KM's are very easy to keep clean. I imagine #1 would be very similar, but if you have the extra $ I'd grab #2. The MZ would smoke great I'm sure but doesn't look nearly as nice as those KM's. For hoses, the ones on those KM's will do very well for you. The MZ hose pictured looks like it wouldn't perform that well but I have no experience with MZ so I can't comment. Neither of the 3 hoses are washable if that matters. So.. I'd buy #2, #1, #3 in that order. I also have a QT and I can't tell you how much you're gonna love whichever option you choose. The wider pipes make all the difference in the world. piperjason
now that I am home I whipped out the tape measure to see actually how large these are. 29" is still a good sized pipe I see.
sss8789
check the shipping too. gothookahs had a $22 shipping charge for a MZ and a base....

Bulldog_916
I would order the KM or an MZ from hookah company because they dont charge you shipping relative to the size of the hookah. With the discount, shipping is practically free.
hookah hippie
get yourself #2 honestly out of those 3 any would be a good choice that would smoke extremely well but given the option I would go with the KM classic

Gift3d
People can argue all they like but there is no smoking difference between any decent quality hookah taller than 14 inches. Hookahs are so incredibly simple in design, it's just physics. You have a hookah made of metal, glass, and clay. Take 10 hookahs with the same design and same height and you'll get the same quality of smoke. The only thing i've noticed that's good about a KM is the purge... i can't remember one time i've had to purge my hookah ever. The only true difference between hookahs is the look, size, how durable they are, how they're cleaned, etc.And the only thing that makes a difference of the quality smoke you get is coals, shisha, the bowl, and foil.
