Funnel Bowl Vs. Egyptian Bowl

So I'm looking to get a funnel bowl.

Whats the perks with smoking tangierz with a funnel bowl instead of a standard egyptian bowl which I have been using for some time now

What size of funnel bowl should I get. I have a larger Mya Paragon

wat kind of tangiers have you been smokin? the phunnel is amazing with the unwashed (original) line, and i agree with stuie, get a small it will be all you need

Get a small, I got one and they are alot bigger than you think. I cant imagine why anyone would need a bigger one than a small.

One of the perks with the phunnel would be the smoke time would be lengthened. The juices sit at the bottom of the bowl instead of in the stem, making cleanup easier as well. Go go! Get a small!

I just got a Medium Tangiers and I love it. My friends and I smoked it for about 2 hrs and there was still some wet shisha on the bottom.

O geez....I saw the topic and thought that there was an actual argument that the normal egyptian is better than a phunnel. Then again there aren't like 300 posts in the thread so I guess not

I have a medium phunnel and I usuall smoke solo. That said I will definately be getting a small soon. The medium is sweet just too freakin huge for me alone (though since it was a gift I'm sure as hell not complaining and it's great for group sessions).

get yourself a small funnel nice long sessions and more flavorful due to the tobacco sitting in its juices

Thanks all I actually went with the medium funnel bowl and love it. I get a long lasting flavor with it and it works with the 44mm coals that we get

I noticed it holds 40 grams. I use bowls that supposedly use about 15-25 grams. Would a small phunnel work properly if i filled it half way?

some do it and report success, i suggest you just fill the bowl, and smoke it, if you wanna smoke the same flavor the next day, just leave the bowl packed and add more coals for the next day. If you don't want to do that, then after smoking scrape off the burned shisha and take the good stuff at the bottom and dump it back into the tub.
