Hookah Suggestion

K guys, I need to get a new Hookah, pretty unhappy with my Chiller from HS as the downstem is very short and doesn't allow enough smoke. I know everyone loves KM and I like the look of MYA's too. I was looking to spend $175 or less, I really want an eye-popper (preferably not blue) with a smooth easy draw (multi-hoses are cool not neccisary, but they need auto-seal (does this effect purge))...any suggestions would be great.

I thought the Bahiya at HC looks great and seems to be a larger tri-metal (which gets high reviews) with a Czech base which is sweet, but didn't know if anyone had something to say on it or a better suggestion for that price range.

You can get pretty much anything for that price range. Personally, I like to keep mine as simple as possible. My recommendation is the KM Amer, which is about $100. Then use some of that extra money to buy a Namor or Razan hose and some nice shisha.

Good point on the hose, I was actually at one point considering a red Mya Collosus 3 hose, just because I would get 3 red cloisonne hoses with it. But I keep hearing amazing things about KM, nothing against Mya's...I was looking for something with a little more "bling"like appearance (as I already have a couple "simple" ones/ this would be my "wow" hookah). I also need to try Tangiers...stupid unnamed company, convinces you to believe all their semi-generic products are top notch, especially their unnamed shisha. Praise Allah for Hookahforum.com! any km will do justice if you are going km. 160 is a bit much but it is b/c of that base, def. worth the money, just not sure if id spend 160 seeing as just about all KM's rip more or less the same.

True, I'm just sold on these Czech bases, such high quality, so gorgeous...does anyone know if the KM's are typically brass on the internal non cosmetic parts, or does it vary stem to stem...anyone have any other blinged out KM suggestions (doesn't need the Czech base a nice stem is a plus too) Edited August 16, 2008 by duckhater

Ya a Km will do good no matter what model you get. I agree with the chezch base, i have one on my mashal. As for the brass cored stem, not all of them do, but a decent amount of them do. I know my mashal is not brass cored, but i know that the tri-metal is. I would say just call Hc and ask them in the one your looking at is or not.

I know my mashal is not brass cored, but i know that the tri-metal is. I would say just call Hc and ask them in the one your looking at is or not.

Thank you for reaffirming my thoughts on the Czech base...with the HF coupon it'll be $153 shipped...too bad they don't have Nammor or Nazar hoses (which I know they can't since it's pretty much exclusive to RH and HS) Edited August 16, 2008 by duckhater

You wont regret the KM. I have had mine for about 6 months now and I havent even wanted another one. i doubt i will till mine become completely worn out in about a 150 years.

actually no, the km tri-metal is SS, hc said it was and then i received it and it isn't. nickreppin said it wasn't and he was infact correct, I only said it was b/c HC stated it was.

To be honest it doesn't matter, if you take care of both, they will both last forever.

I know brass is better, but to be honest I don't exactly know why...can someone who does know actually make a legit pro/con comparison (I tried to search for it, but only found people saying it was better)
