Tembo Shisha

Recommended Posts

i just got the tobacco i ordered last week. it`s called tembo and is produced in france by a company called shishamania. they sell their shisha in little tubs of 50 and 100g.

i got two flavors: strawberry candy and raisin namanga (grape), both 100g.

the smell was a little weird when i first opened the cans, but i`m letting it acclimate for now.

the company website: http://tembotobacco.com

apparently they also sell a hookah that uses shisha pads, like with espresso machines http://tembotobacco.com/page.php?id=4

here are some pictures:

a review will follow later tonight.

edit: i forgot to mention that the stuff is 9.5 euros ($14 at the current exchange rates) for 100g

thanks JD!, i`ve put the review of the strawberry candy up in te review section.

i`ll do the other one tomorow because i`ve had a couple of beers and i might not be able to taste the complete "pallet" of flavors and thus give it an unfair review.

i`ll keep you guys posted and i`ll buy and review some more tembo flavours in the not too distant future.

Also, what kind of Nakhla tin is that you have there? Never seen one like that

nakhla fakhfakhina mixed fuit (better than the regular one imo).

and over here they sell nakhla in tins and carboard packages. the tin is only 50 cents extra, so naturally i chose that.

that little pack hookah looks interesting, just wonder how well those packs can really work. it would probably be a great thing to just take with you on the run/road/trips but idk about all the time

i think that system could be a practical solution for trendy cafes or restaurants, so that the staff doesn`t need to have much knowledge about setting up a hookah but the particular establishment would still be a able to offer their customers a hookah to smoke with their coffee or after dinner.

for us regular hookah smokers it isn`t really interesting, because i`m sure one pad would cost at least as much as 5 bowls worth of tobacco that you packed yourself. still an interesting development that could make hookah more accescible to a larger group of people

i also put the review of the raisin namanga in the review section.
